Rather than us tell you about Starmaker, we have asked our members, their parents, ex-members and company friends to write the page for us. Hopefully this will allow you to get a feel for the company and what we are all about.
"I have been a member of Starmaker for almost three years. I have had an amazing time here. It is not only a place to do acting, singing and dancing, it is a place that makes people feel confident, this will defiantly help in later life for job interviews, meeting new people and general life. The teachers are professional and very helpful. I have learnt how to sing, act, dance meet new people, direct... I love Starmaker and what it gives to me. I would strongly recommend to anyone!" "I have been a part of Starmaker for four years. In this fantastic four years of my life I have had the chance with the areas best Directors, Chroegraphers and Musical Directors. Not only at Starmaker do I get to do the two most things that mean the world to me: Singing and Acting, I have made some of the bestest friends in the World there. I love Singing and Acting, it is my life but I also get to do Dancing which is a great, fun experience. Since coming to Starmaker my confidence has builded and I get to be in the funniest, interesting shows ever written. If I didn't have Starmaker my life would not be complete!" Katie Goodsell

I have always dreamt of making it in the performing arts industry and i believe that with all the help and guidance starmaker has given me through the years, one day my dream may come true. Starmaker is the highlight of my week. I get to do what i love and i have made such good friends here."

"I have been involved with Starmaker for 18 years, since its launch in 1988 when my daughters (now 32 & 29) became members. All these years later they still have a great affection for the company, and made a valuable & happy journey from members as children & teenagers, to working for the company on productions as adults. They still have friends they made at Starmaker & without a doubt, their workshop & performance experiences with the company contributed to their places in Performing Arts colleges & subsequent professional work.As a parent I too have great affection for the company & marvel at the tireless & unceasing efforts (voluntary) of all the adults involved in running the company – parents of current members, parents of members who have moved on and adults who have never even had children in the company! There is a requirement for discipline, hard work, punctuality & consideration for others, at Starmaker & this results in a happy company & incredibly professional productions.
